Bocce Antipasto

This I have the privilege of sharing with you these delicious sauces, marinades, mustards & olives sent to me by Saucy Mama. With names like Lime Chipotle, Cracked Pepper and Sweet Onion Marinades, Hot Wing Sauce, Chipotle Mustard and Jalapeno Stuffed Olives, my mind was swirling (my mouth was drooling!) with possible recipe combinations. In the end I ended up creating something simple and delicious for a Labor Day Bocce Tournament that we were invited to.

Bocce Antipasto

Ingredients:
  • Fresh Cherry Tomatoes, washed
  • Jalapeno Stuffed Olives from Saucy Mama, drained
  • Mild Cheddar Cheese, cubed
To put these together slide a cube of the mild cheddar cheese, followed one of the Saucy Mama Jalapeno Stuffed Olives and a cherry tomato on to a cocktail toothpick.

These are absolutely delicious! The sweetness of the tomato, followed by the heat of the Jalapeno Suffed Olive and then finished by the mild cheddar cheese is the perfect combination in my mind (and mouth!).
The jar of Jalapeno Stuffed Olives reads 'The Perfect Martini'. This Antipasto was fantastic with a Corona and wedge of lime. I'm definitely making these again to snack on while watching the Patriots on to a Super Bowl win!
